CALL FOR APPOINTMENT TO AUDITION—On February 1, we will begin taking calls for audition times. On Sunday March 4, the auditions begin at 2:00pm and run every half hour until 5:00pm. On Monday March 5, the auditions will start at 7:00pm and run every half hour until 9:00pm. There will be 12 auditioners in each half hour group. Call 222-6654 between 1:00pm and 5:00Pm, Monday through Friday for your appointment.

AUDITION PROCESS - Actors will check in and wait in the 2^nd Floor Lounge. During the audition each actor will sing 16 measures of a prepared song as a solo and learn and perform a short dance routine as a group. The auditionee must bring their sheet music with then for the accompanist to play for them.

CALLBACKS - If callbacks are necessary, they will be held on Tuesday, March 6 at 7PM.

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE—rehearsals begin, March 12^th at 7pm in Snell Hall. Rehearsals are scheduled Monday through Friday, 7pm-9:30pm.

NO REHEARSALS ON SPRING BREAK, March 30-APRIL 8th.

**Please note there are morning performances at 10 am ^onApril 20 and April 25. You must be able to be at the performance to be cast in the show.

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN—NOTE: The musical score for Pinkalicious requires singers, for all parts, who can sing in harmony and have a large vocal range. Also you must be able to move well.

Pinkalicious—Female age 10-17—Mezzo Belt

Peter (her brother)—Male 12-17--Tenor

Mrs. Pinkerton (her mother)--Female age 25-40’s--Mezzo

Mr. Pinkerton (her father)—Male—age 25-40’s—Bari/tenor

Alison (her friend)—female, ages 10-17--Alto

Dr. Wink—(her pediatrician) adult male or female—Baritone/ Mezzo

Butterflys 1,2,3, Bird and Bee—male and female, ages 10-17—Soprano/Tenor

AUDITION!

Those planning to audition for a show at the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre will be asked to read from a script. For musical auditions, come with a prepared song and be ready to take part in a dance audition. Some auditions require advance registration.
